The prestigious film festival in Cannes is taking place as we speak. Wonderful gowns are walking across the red carpet and are bedazzling everything and everyone in there way. Diane Kruger has mezmerized us several times now with her sparkling dresses. However, Cannes is about movies. That is why we want to share our “want to watch” Cannes movie top 4 with you.

Starting with…

Moonrise Kingdom by Wes Anderson
Packed with hollywoods finest: Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Bill Murray and Tilda Swinton.

We have all seen “The Royal Tennenbaums” now Wes tells us a story about two 12-year-olds who fall in love, they make a secret pact, and run away together into the wilderness. Set in 1965 the movie gets an interesting feel.

Paperboy by Lee Daniels
Also a star packed movie. Actors like; Zac Efron, Matthew McConaughey, Nicole Kidman, John Cusack.

The Director of “Precious” focuses on the complexity of Human Behavior. In this movie, a psychological thriller, the director follows the investigation of two Miami Times journalists charged with looking into the case of a jailed alligator hunter who risks execution even though there is no conclusive evidence against him. We think this movie will bring us to the edge of our seats.

On the road by Walter Salles
Actors like Sam Riley, Kristen Stewart, Viggo Mortensen and Kirsten Dunst.

After the movie “Melancholia” we can’t wait to see Kirsten Dunst on the big screen again. Synopsis: Just after his father’s death, Sal Paradise, an aspiring New York writer, meets Dean Moriarty, a devastatingly charming ex-con, married to the very liberated and seductive Marylou. Sal and Dean bond instantly. Determined not to get locked in to a constricted life, the two friends cut their ties and take to the road with Marylou. Thirsting for freedom, the three young people head off in search of the world, of other encounters, and of themselves.
I’m thinking this movie will make us feel as happy as, leonardo Dicaprio and Kate Winslet, dancing on tables in the lower class lodge of the Titanic.

Cosmopolis by David Cronenberg
Featuring teenage heartbreaker Robert Pattinson.

New York is in turmoil, the age of capitalism is drawing to a close end. Eric Packer, a high finance golden boy, dives into a white limousine. While a visit from the President of the United States paralyses Manhattan, Eric Packer has one obsession: getting a haircut at his barber’s at the other end of the city. As the day goes by, chaos sets in, and he watches helplessly as his empire collapses. Also he is sure that someone is going to assassinate him. When? Where? He is about to live the most decisive 24 hours of his life.
